This Introduction to Azure Analysis Services class will take users through the Azure Portal to get a basic understanding of navigation and Azure services. This course covers creating and deploying tabular data models using SQL Server Data Tools to Azure Analysis Services. Also we will look at basic data modeling concepts as well as a little of the Data Analysis Expression (DAX) language. This class also covers administrative topics such as partitions, perspectives and row level security. Lastly we will also explore how to connect to Azure Analysis Services using Excel and Power BI. Users should have a good understanding of Azure Analysis Services and whether it is a good option for them.
