This lesson is the first of six in the “Workplace Mental Health” series, which explains how to set an organizational culture that supports mental health. In this lesson, learners will become familiar with examples of mental illness and common symptoms that are associated with those mental health challenges. Viewers will also learn about biological and environmental risk factors for mental illness, as well as the impact of mental health on the workplace. In the end, learners should understand that mental illness is a pervasive issue that needs to be talked about in order to break the stigma associated with it.
