Cisco CCNA Cybersecurity
By: Anthony Sequeira

Overview
CCNA Cybersecurity is a foundational course that introduces students to the principles of protecting networks, systems, and data in modern IT environments. It typically covers core security concepts such as threat types, common attack methods, secure network design, access control, device hardening, firewalls, VPNs, endpoint protection, and basic security monitoring. Students are expected to learn how cybersecurity fits into networking, how to identify vulnerabilities and risks, and how to apply best practices to help secure routers, switches, wireless networks, and connected devices. By the end of the course, students should understand the role of a network security professional and be able to recognize, prevent, and respond to common security issues in a Cisco-based networking environment.
