“Culture of Civility: Creating a Harassment-Free Workplace – Supervisors (Illinois)” supports leaders in recognizing, preventing, and responding to harassment while modeling the standards expected across the organization. This course helps supervisors understand how to recognize and respond to harassment, as well as how to behave appropriately and prevent harassment from occurring in the first place. Supervisors will learn about protected characteristics, the reasonable person standard, retaliation protections, investigation procedures, cultural risk factors, and leadership responsibilities essential to maintaining a respectful and compliant workplace.
