Preventing Substance Abuse in the Workplace (Supervisors)

Welcome to the “Preventing Substance Abuse in the Workplace (Supervisors)” course, which covers what supervisors need to know to help prevent substance misuse and address it effectively. This course consists of 16 lessons that will introduce the most common substances of concern, the risks they pose to all employees and the organizations, and the resources available to support prevention, intervention, and recovery. This course contains four supervisor-only lessons that address the unique responsibilities that supervisors have to prevent substance misuse occurring at work. By the end of this course, supervisors will be equipped to recognize warning signs, understand workplace policies, and contribute to a healthier, safer environment.
